When Potidea Palace was acquired by Portes Melathron SA in 2015, a large scale renovation was decided to take place by the management. Renovation would include main restaurant, pool bar, beach bar and all the outdoor spaces -pools, garden, sport courts etc.
Xenex worked with project engineers and associates from Apollon Tomboulidis Team (project contractor) and hotel executives in order to finalise the kitchen and bars design.
Installation took place in early 2016 and hotel was ready to reopen in May 2016.
Back of house kitchen includes Olis cooking equipment, Hallde preparation machines, Brema ice makers, Meiko dishwashers, and 9 walk in cold rooms and freezers.
Front of House buffet and open kitchen consists of Xenex Steel custom fabrications and refrigerated ventilated wells for the holding of cold food, Alto Shaam carving station, Swiss Induction cooking by Inducs.
Cooperation between Xenex and project engineers Mr Isaac Zosimidis and Mr George Likotrafitis (architect) was very efficient and the project was handed by Xenex in time as scheduled.
