Why Choose Xenex Steel Products

Xenex Steel S.A., a subsidiary of Xenex S.A., has been designing and manufacturing stainless steel food service equipment for over 30 years. As a Greek company, it has established itself as a leading manufacturer of large-scale stainless steel food service equipment—a recognition attributed to five key factors that distinguish its products and facilitate their export to countries across Europe and the Middle East.

1. Use of Only Series 300 Stainless Steel

There are various types of stainless steel with different grades and alloys, but only a few are suitable for large-scale catering and food processing applications. Among these, Series 300 is a primary choice, with Series 200 and 400 as secondary options. Xenex Steel exclusively uses Series 300 stainless steel, specifically alloys 304 (non-porous and rust-resistant) and 316 (which contains titanium and thus represents a superior category). The performance and versatility of these alloys significantly surpass those of Series 200 and 400, which lack nickel and exhibit inferior corrosion resistance. Additionally, Xenex Steel does not compromise on product quality or use galvanized steel. Galvanized steel is unsuitable for food processing due to its reduced rust resistance and durability. Finally, Xenex Steel uses 2mm thick stainless steel for all surfaces, ensuring exceptional durability and enhanced safety.

2. Never Uses Plastic Components

While plastic may be inexpensive, its durability is a significant concern in constructions that incorporate plastic elements, as these materials often fail to withstand the rigors of daily, continuous use typical in many professional environments. Plastic is commonly used for reinforcing components and bullet feet on workbenches, shelves, cabinets, and similar items. Xenex Steel uses 100% stainless steel reinforcements and bullet feet in all its products, as plastic components are prone to cracking or deforming. It has been proven that using stainless steel components not only saves costs but also extends the lifespan of the products.

3. Manufactures Fully Welded Products

The fully welded, seamless stainless steel surfaces are a hallmark of Xenex Steel’s constructions. You will find no visible gaps or disconnected parts when you receive a final product from Xenex Steel. Xenex Steel manufactures only 100% fully welded products, which undergo multiple quality checks before leaving the company’s facilities.

4. A 100% Greek Company

Xenex Steel’s stainless steel products are manufactured in Greece at its factory facilities in Avlona, Attica. The experienced, specially trained personnel, using state-of-the-art machinery, monitor every stage of the production process to ensure a 100% flawless outcome.

5. CE-Certified Products

The CE marking is of utmost importance for a stainless steel equipment manufacturer, as it guarantees that the products comply with strict European directives and standards for safety, health, and environmental protection. With the CE mark, Xenex Steel assures its customers that its products have been tested and are safe for use, further enhancing trust and reliability in the market.
